I think I want to be a Coach.........

Download the Coach Application Form Here

What do I have to do?

Your prime objective as a Coach is to ensure that the players enjoy their football and develop their skills.
In the younger grades (6-8) the focus is on fun and exercise but along the way they should learn basic ball skills and the rules of the game.

In the older grades technique, skill and rules need to be developed and refined.

Do I need experience?

All coaches that have not done appropriate courses and do not have any accreditation, must do a Grass Roots Coaching Course.

A Coaches Seminar will be run in 2010 (more details later) A Guest Speaker will address the Coaches and demonstrate a few age appropriate training techniques etc. BBQ will be provided and this should run for about 3 hours.

Can I get help?

You MOST DEFINITELY CAN!!!!

Please feel free to contact

• Mick Buckley Director of Football 0412876311
• Jason Nunn Grading Co-ordinator 49458922 or 0427755477
For any assistance you require.

Useful Tips

• Get a list of your team members and note the parent/guardians mobile numbers. Its easier to text them to tell them training/game has been cancelled due to rain etc than it is to phone everyone individually.
• Leave the day to day admin of the team to your Manager and focus on and enjoy coaching your team.
