Unfortunately the run has ended.
Since having access to the new amenities 1st Grade have been undefeated at home – 7 home games from 7; but on Wednesday night we had a loss. Not a bad effort of only 2 losses at home in total for the year.
It was at the hands of a very good Moresset who will be in the top 4 & should go close to getting to the grand final, unfortunately we went down 2 nil but were not disgraced; we had quite a few chances but failed to capitalize.
On another note the Reggie’s had a good win on Tuesday night beating an understrength Moresset 4 – 0
This leaves 1 game to go on Sunday at Kahibah & hopefully all grades can go out with a win, Good luck to all.

Well it has been a big few weeks of having the new amenities & it seems to be working for our 1st grade side.
They have played 5 home games & won all 5.
Some of the games have been against clubs that are well up in the tables and the boys have sent them home with their tails between there legs.

There will be Information/Trial nights on Tuesdays 6.00pm at Chapman Oval starting on Tuesday 16-11-10

Swansea Football Club has been accepted into the new ZONE PREMIER LEAGUE competition for 2011.
The competition will consist of 1st Grade – Open Age, Reserve Grade – Open Age and 23’s – Restricted to players 23 and under, with a maximum of 4 over age players.
Other teams in the competition are – Dudley-Redhead United FC, Kahibah FC, Mayfield United FC, Morissett United FC, New Lambton Eagles FC, Newcastle University Men’s FC, Thornton Park FC and Wallsend FC.
This is a great thing for Swansea FC and will also be great for the Swansea area in general.

ID’s 1 Div 3rd Grade
Our ID’s 1st Division boys from 3rd grade had their first win of the season against Plattsburg 24/4/10
