Well we have been in the building for a few weeks now.

A couple of minor things still need attention but on a whole mostly going alright.

It has taken me awhile but below are some photos of the finished building.

Canteen has been enlarged & modernized

The old change rooms have been enlarged & new showers & toilets included. They can be used as two rooms or opened up as one large room.

Two new change rooms have been add and they also can be one large room or two smaller rooms by use of the roller door. This give us a total of 4 change rooms.

The old existing building & new section have been joined buy incorporating a breezeway.

Off the breezeway there are two (that’s right 2) referees rooms.

The building has its own toilets for game days but there are two public toilets which cater for male & female and are wheel chair friendly.

That’s a brief look at the building, there are also a number of store rooms  etc. Please come and have a look we are sure you will be impressed.

That’s right we are now into week 30 – two & a half months after original set finish date.

But we are very close building has been handed over to Council & the work site fence has been removed.

Should be able to use building this weekend (if grounds are OK). May not be much of a canteen with all of our equipment in storage, but we will be in.

Still some minor work to be done – turf to go down, some minor painting etc.

I will post some photos of the completed building when we have full access.

Another week gone & now 1month behind.

Strange thing happened this weekend tiler worked Saturday & Sunday – a shame others hadn’t been doing the same might be closer to finishing.

Looks like all rendering has been done & internal finishing has commenced.

First weekend of games at home and no building – had porta-loos, thats something?

Thank you to all those that helped set up and make the day as good as it could be.

Well we have been given updated finish date for the building – it is now due to be completed on the 17th June.

That’s right not a typo the 17th June.

If it keeps going at this rate it may be ready for end of season presentation day?

We don’t know what will happen with home games yet waiting for draw and then see what Council will come up with?

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL – hope you all have a great long weekend!

Week 20 which was suppose to be the hand over date – finish is still some time off though.

Roof is all on, cladding is underway, plumbing & electrical wiring is well under way.

Don’t know what will happen with first lot of home games.

There is still time to register for the building Foundation Supporter Sponsorship – so if you haven’t already done so do it now.

We have been informed that the building is 4 weeks behind and will not be ready for the season start.

We do not know yet how this will impact on our first home games?

Keep tuned & we will let you know more as we are updated.

More detail & pictures soon!

Slowly but surley the building is taking shape. All of the roof beams & supports are now up. Roof sheet should start to go on Tuesday?

On another note the watering system is up & running on the automated system. Grounds are coming back slowly.

Hopefully it will all come together in time for the seasons start?

The main roof support columns have bee pored and form work removed ready for roof supports to go up. The frame work & roof supports for the public toilet have also been erected.

Power & water are finally back on. Watering system working manually – solenoid wiring still to extend. Most of the new brick work for main building & public toilets is completed. Unfortunately the concrete columns are a week behind due to the steal form work being done wrong and having to be redone (we can only keep our fingers crossed & hope this doesn’t impact on finishing date).

Well back after the brake thing have started to move again. The form work for the front support columns and back slab as well as slab for toilets have been set up. This was suppose to be poured last Thursday but still to be done. This means the reconnection of power & the watering system is still behind.  Hopefully it will be up and running soon otherwise the grass will be none existent.
