2011  Swansea Football Club Inc. REGISTRATION

Registration Days for Swansea Football Club Inc for 2011 at *CAVES BEACH SLSC* will be on the following days and times:-

Saturday 29-01-11 1pm to 4pm
Thursday 3-02-11 4pm to 8pm
Saturday 5-02-11 1pm to 4pm Sunday 6-02-11 1pm to 4pm
  • All new players to the club must bring a birth certificate on registration day for a club official to witness.
  • All new senior players (AAW, O35’s & ID) must have a photo taken at the Football Club – can not be registered unless done.
  • All players must be financial to play with Swansea Football Club Inc. in any competition.
  • Every financial player registered in a junior team will receive a ball of the correct size for his/her age. This ball is to be used for training purposes and should be brought to each training session. Balls will be issued ASAP once teams are finalised.
  • All players registering for a Junior Team must register in correct age group (i.e. age they turn in 2011) As Per Club Constitution.
  • All senior players registered after 3 of their team’s competition rounds will incur a $15.00 Association late rego fee.
  • All registrations will be taken and we will try our best to accommodate all players, but if there are to many/not enough numbers for any age group, a mixed age team may be formed (some players may have to play up in a higher age group).
  • Any registrations after the final registration day will only be accepted where there is a position available for that player in their own age group, or an appropriate age group which is acceptable to the player, the parents and the club.
  • PLEASE mark registration form in appropriate place if you are trying out for All Age, AAWomens, O/35 or Senior ID teams

Player Grading

All teams starting with under *9′s* will be graded where required, and the final decision for placement of players will be at the discretion of grading team and the Executive.

The following dates and times have been scheduled for the respective age groups:

Monday 7-02-11             U12’s   5.00pm to 6.00pm                AAW   6.15pm to 7.15pm

Tuesday 8-02-11             U12’s   5.00pm to 6.00pm                AAW   6.15pm to 7.15pm

Wednesday 9-02-11      U9’s,    5.00pm to 6.00pm                U10’s   6.15pm to 7.15pm

Thursday 10-02-11       U9’s     5.00pm to 6.00pm                U10’s   6.15pm to 7.15pm

Monday 14-02-11         U11’s   5.00pm to 6.00pm                U12 Girls 6.15pm to 7.15pm

Tuesday 15-02-11        U11’s   5.00pm to 6.00pm                U12 Girls 6.15pm to 7.15pm

Wednesday 16-02-11  U14’s   5.00pm to 6.00pm                U14 Girls 6.15pm to 7.15pm

Thursday 17-02-11     U14’s   5.00pm to 6.00pm                U14 Girls 6.15pm to 7.15pm

Monday 21-02-11 Orientation U6’s     4.00pm to 5.00pm                U7’s 5.15pm to 6.15pm

Monday 21-02-11       U16 Girls 5.00pm to 6.00pm

Monday 21-02-11      U18 Girls 6.15pm ONLY IF REQUIRED

Tuesday 22-02-11 Orientation U8’s     4.00pm to 5.00pm

Tuesday 22-02-11    U16 Girls 5.00pm to 6.00pm

Tuesday 22-02-11   U18 Girls 6.15pm ONLY IF REQUIRED

Wednesday 23-02-11 U13, U15, U16, U17, U18 5.00pm to 7.00pm Team Meetings Only

  • Please note that it is important that ALL players be at both of the grading days, as different areas are covered on each day. If a player is unable to make a grading session could they please contact our Grading Co-ordinator Steve Sohr on 0437673561, or Director of Football Matthew Fellows on 0411968646 ASAP?
  • Extra grading sessions may be required in some age groups; these will be advised if needed.
  • Some grading may not be needed depending on team numbers. We will endeavour to notify players as soon as possible if this happens. Please contact Steve or Matthew if raining, to confirm if on or changed.
  • Players will be advised of team placements ASAP following the final grading day.
  • As always the grading schedule is very tight and we would like all players to be at the ground at lest 15 minutes prior.
  • Should you have a grievance with regard to your child’s placement; action will only be taken after a written letter is submitted to the Executive Committee.
