Girls
Swansea
FC has a thriving and
growing girls and womens participation. The club has enjoyed successful
A grade
quality sides for several years with additional sides for developing
players of
all standards.
A
grade sides from U12, U14
and U16 reached the finals with the U16’s being 2011 premiers.
The club will
field many girls and womens teams in 2012 and has a goal of having a
Premier
League standard womens team by 2013. The strength of the female teams
at
Swansea is outstanding.
Boys
The
Development Academy has
been running for 3 years and has provided an excellent foundation of
highly
skilled players for A grade quality sides. A few new recruits in each
age
division will propel the teams to the next level.
U16’s
– will
definitely play A grade next year and challenge for premiership. Very
strong
team with many new players indicating desire to join the team.
Experienced
coach with former Northern Spirit colts already in place for next
season.
U15’s
–
recruiting for A grade side.
Trials: Tuesday 18th and
Thursday 20th October. Chapman Oval 6
–
7:30pm.
Strong
core group – with upto 6 A grade quality additions already
potentially returning.
Training
v U16 squad
available during summer with twilight games. Side
expected to be very competitive. Elevate your
game in this ultra
competitive environment.
Swansea
has outstanding young
talent. Grading for the younger teams takes place prior to the season
in 2012.
The vision is for the club to field A grade quality sides in each age
division
such that our most outstanding kids are not lost to clubs offering
higher
competition. Swansea FC is on the verge of achieving this.
The
club has great
facilities, fields and an inexpensive Development Academy (for 2011

foster

addition of a few additional quality coaches
and
